👣 Noire Pilgrim: Speak to Me

Tell me. Listen to me.

Speak to me. Believe this or not: I am an introvert. I am also an over-thinker and observer. It is difficult for me to ask for help in most things.

How can I communicate to the people that I meet In Spain that I am happy, sad, that I enjoyed the food, drinks, and hospitality? How do I say, finally, that I am lost? It is something that makes me feel a little nervous.

I want to be welcomed and welcoming in a respectful and effective way. The feeling I do not want is like a lost soul in the woods. As much helpful Spanish as I can learn is what I want – not to feel comfortable, but to listen, learn, and to make a good impression.

Over 1400 km of walking, eating, resting, I want to remember that I tried to be a good fellow human on my journey down that long camino trail.

Looking back at a small where they did "speak to me".

Speak to me: I know that I don’t know

Speak to me of a long way in the mountains.

I’m sure I’ll still be a lost soul in the woods, but I’ll learn to say it like this:

Soy una alma perdida en el bosque.

_____________

Who am I to ask, speak to me?

🌹

Now that is probably the best Spanish you will hear me “speak”… ever? Ha ha.

I’ll simply be me doing the very best that I can.

Hasta luego to everyone.
